 Power Seats on 2.0T?
So, I'm curious. I stopped by my local Hyundai dealer to check out a 2.0L Gencoupe, and I was disappointed to discover that I was too tall to sit comfortably. Even with the manual pump letting the seat as far down as it would go, my head would press against the roof unless I slouched. The power seats in the 3.8 go a little lower, and proved much more comfortable.
Here's the kicker - not one person in that dealership knew whether power seats were available in any 2.0T trim. I had already noticed that power seats are nowhere noted as options on hyundaicanada.com, and none of their literature or official specs said anything about them. Does anyone know the facts?

I don't see why it wouldn't be included, I mean they're power seats! I would understand if they didn't put them into the R-spec for weight issues but the 2.0T should have them.

 Re: Power Seats on 2.0T?
You would think so, right? There's actually significant discrepancy between hyundaicanada.com, hyundaiusa.com, and the dealership's literature. As I said, the Canadian website nowhere mentions power seats as an option. The American website, on the other hand, includes power seats and push-button start with every trim level except the basic 2.0T. There's further confusion about fog lights and HID headlights, as well.
It's all very frustrating. Really, I don't understand the sense of "Package" trims - if I want an option, I should be able to pay money to get it.
